Alatyr

The gun is good! The penis is evil!

As you've probably heard by now, Mediafire freaked out over the seizure of Megaupload, and they deleted a massive number of music files so as to not end up in the same boat. A lot of metal blogs were hit hard by this, some of them so hard that they closed down, including Finsternis. Frankly, I'm not too worried by this turn of events. I specialize in ultra rare and obscure albums, so I doubt I'll show up on their radar. Even if Mediafire does delete all my files, I'll just upload them again, this time with more cryptic file names to make it even harder for them to spot.

Now that we got that out of the way, let's get onto the music, shall we? I have a real treat for ya. This file contains two albums from two different bands who are both named Alatyr. The first Alatyr came from Belarus and released only one demo named Agoj. They play rather upbeat and catchy Pagan Black Metal that is quite reminiscent of early Nokturnal Mortum. The second Alatyr came from Slovakia and released only one full-length named Alatyr. They play a more ambient/depressive form of Black Metal that reminds me of Trist. Which one is the better Alatyr, you ask? Well, I like 'em both.
