I'm back! Let's start off the year right with an album I've really been enjoying. This is Codex Incubo by Cosmic Atrophy. This band can best be described as the bastard son of Demilich, which is strange because I never liked Demilich but I love Cosmic Atrophy. This album is packed full of Lovecraftian growls, otherworldly solos, and a jazzy sounding bass. Unfortunately, this will be the only album they will ever release, because I've read that the frontman decided that he could make more money by making video game music, so he left Cosmic Atrophy and the band broke up soon afterwards.
