Necrogenesis

Angel Dissection is a ridiculously obscure Blackened Death Metal band from Olathe, Kansas. (They only have 11 listeners on Last.fm, including myself.) They released only one album with a mouthful title, Necrogenesis: Machines of Divinity and Dismemberment, then vanished into the ether. When I tell people that I love this album, they look at me like I'm hopped up on meth. Sure, the keyboards are corny and sound like video game music at times, the production is real muddy, and the guitars sound like they were played through the tiniest amps ever, but this album has a certain charm that draws me to them. It reminds me of my adolescence and how I always wanted to form my own metal band armed only with my spirit and determination.

NOTE: For some strange reason, the last two or three seconds of every song are missing and I don't know why. This was the only good quality rip I could find on the net, so don't blame me, blame the rip. My best advice is to just ignore this problem and try to enjoy the music as is.
